Each coaster begins as a whole Petoskey stone, carefully cut into slabs before being shaped and smoothed. I do my best to preserve the natural shape of the stone, even striving for a “live” edge when the stone allows—though those details are rare and make each piece even more special.
Because petoskeys are a softer stone, I finish them with a clear resin coat for protection and durability. A cork backing is added for a soft, slip-free base that keeps your surfaces safe. Every coaster is truly one of a kind. (optional black rubber stoppers available upon request in place of cork)
